Grace's birthday is on Christmas day, so it gets a little bit tricky to find a good day to have a friend birthday party. We had it last weekend and boy, what fun! It was, of course, a Princess party. The girls got to dress up like princesses, and the boys could dress up like anything they wanted. There were 11 kids there and we had a blast! Grace was so excited in fact that she didn't really know how to deal with all the excitement. All the kids were wanting to sit by her, fighting for the chair next to her and so on.
When it was time to sing and give the birthday girl her cupcake, she just started to cry! She didn't know how to handle all this attention and fun! (it made for some fun pictures though!) Grandma was there by her side trying to make her happy.
She did end up happy. Thank goodness.

Oh...she is so cute! Birthday's can be so overwhelming!! I miss you... I wish that I knew Grace... she is beautiful!
She is so freaking cute, I love her! That is funny she started to cry...she was probably so overwhelmed with emotion she didn't know what to do w/ her self... sounds like she's taking after her momma :)
She looks like a darker-haired Shirley Temple. Where were our invitations, by the way? Wish we lived closer so we could celebrate with you guys. Christmas time we'll make up for it though!
